Greetings! After two months following the final episode release of the Sawbones Society season 1, this passion project is making news again!

On October 14, the Orillia & District Arts Council (ODAC) announced Sarah Pickard (director and actor of the project) is one of four nominated for the Heritage: Restoration, Renovation, and Publication Award, which recognizes an individual or group who brought to life regional history through a physical restoration or creation of a permanent public record.

Coldwater Welcomes The Sawbones Society!

Earlier this summer, CCHM welcomed members of the Sawbones Society to allow them to film a mini-series for the Steampunk Festival.  The series was shot in the Woodrow Homestead, the Eady Slaughterhouse, as well as outdoors on our beautiful grounds.  The series will be six episodes that feature a historical note at the end and can be found on the Steampunk Festival TV channel on YouTube and will be released every Tuesday and Thursday this August.

The Sawbones Society features a group of malpracticing medics; including the uptight physician Dr. Morphine, the eccentric surgeon Mr. Ether, the snide alienist Dr. Heroin, the uncanny apothecary Abby Sinthe, and the mysterious Nurse Clara Form.

Stay tuned for behind the scenes pictures and videos!
